Gate of Time
Although rarely a player of computer games, we notice the amazing graphics that are used in some games. The animated image below, based on the Gate of Time from Zelda Skyward Sword, was created in SVG and CSS on 14 December 2014 by Yannick Brandt.
We had to look up the information about this game and found the following:
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo. In the game the Gate of Time looks like a giant gear being spun by two smaller gears in both upper corners. It has 12 teeth and a symbol on each tooth, bearing resemblance to the hour indicators on a clock.
We were intrigued to find out whether the above display matches the graphics in the game and were able to find and record a short clip of the game where the character in the game named Link opens the Gate of Time. We were impressed. If you wish to see it, please click the start button below
