Controlled Persistence – GRAFIKA

Controlled Persistence

This interesting pen  of animated images called Parameterised Persistence was created by Georgi Nikolov on CodePen on 16 December, 2021. It appears to have been the fifth pen exploring persistence, including a Skeleton App (no persistence), Persistence, Persistence with Upscaled Texture Coordinates, and Reduced Persistence. In computer graphics, persistence refers to the amount of time that a pixel on a display remains on. In technical terms it is defined as the time it takes the emitted light from the screen to decay to one tenth of its original intensity. Some controls are provided to allow changing the parameters that affect persistence on the images. Refresh the page to return to the default settings.
