This analogue gear  clock was made by Tavmjong Bah in 2007 with SVG and ECMAScript (a standardised JavaScript) and the gear design was made using the Python programming language. The relative simplicity of the mechanical display does not really make apparent the difficulty of the complex calculations and the coding needed to display the design. Its accomplishment using SVG is a masterpiece, which allows it to be displayed in any size.
